Posted October 13, 2018 07:04:55The home tax stamps are a bit of a bane to many property owners in Florida, but they are being phased out, and the only way to get around them is to get the stamp removed.
The new law will require anyone who has a stamp on their home to pay a $20 fee to remove it, as well as get rid from the state.
The new stamp laws are coming into effect on October 13.
They are expected to take effect after a five-year waiting period, according to the Florida Department of Revenue.
