The result page is a table with the number of unclaimed properties in each state.

As you can see, the most populated state is California, with 6.4 unclaimed tax dollars per home.

The state with the most unclaimed taxes per home is Nevada, with $12.7 per home, followed by Hawaii, at $11.6 per home and Florida at $10.6.

In addition, the list of uncollected property taxes shows that New York and Illinois have the most, with 2.6 and 2.2 unclaimed, respectively.

California has the fewest unclaimed state taxes per household, at 1.9 and 1.5, which means it’s one of the least expensive states for homeowners to pay their property taxes.

The next most expensive states are Connecticut ($6.4 per home) and North Dakota ($6), which is about $4.8 per home more than the next most pricey state, Illinois ($4.4).

The next least expensive state is New Jersey ($3.9 per home), followed by New York ($3), California ($2.9), Texas ($2), Pennsylvania ($2) and Virginia ($2).
